About

I’m a Red Hat OpenShift professional and experienced Kubernetes engineer, working at the intersection of enterprise-grade cloud platforms and cutting-edge open-source technologies. With years of hands-on experience in container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux systems, I specialize in building robust, scalable infrastructure solutions using OpenShift, OpenShift AI, and Red Hat toolchains.

Beyond the world of DevOps and cloud computing, I’m also a passionate technologist, creative, and lifelong tinkerer. I release music under the name Coherer, blending electro-industrial, EBM, and cinematic textures. I also compose for two hauntology-inspired projects, Town and County and Pennycross Coven, where I explore themes of nostalgia, folklore, and the uncanny through analogue synthesis and sound design.

I’m a licensed amateur radio operator (callsigns M0SPN / OH3SPN), with a strong interest in antenna modeling, circuit simulation, and radio propagation. I enjoy experimenting with HF, VHF/UHF, and digital modes, and building gear that bridges the analog and digital worlds.

Photography is another major passion — both film and digital. I shoot everything from half-frame to medium format, using vintage lenses and manual cameras, and I enjoy developing and scanning my own negatives. Whether it’s street, portrait, or experimental work, I love the tactile, deliberate nature of film photography.

I’m also deeply involved in the retro computing scene, with a particular love for 8-bit and 16-bit systems like the Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, and early x86 hardware. I produce the Bitstream podcast, where I explore the history, quirks, and legacy of vintage computing platforms, software, demos, and games.

Most recently, I’ve been diving headfirst into AI and large language models (LLMs) — both professionally and as a hobbyist. I experiment with open-source LLMs, RAG systems, and self-hosted tools to build intelligent automation, voice assistants, and knowledge platforms. I’m especially interested in the practical integration of AI into home labs, developer workflows, and customer support systems.

Whether it’s building OpenShift clusters, composing haunted synth tracks, simulating RF circuits, scanning 120 film, or hacking on an old Amiga — I live and breathe tech, both old and new.
